Illinois State Fair 2016 Schedule has Daily "Special Days" throughout July 11 to July 21, 2016 Like:

August 11, 2016 - Thursday - Preview Night
Unofficial start of the fair with the twilight parade and discounted carnival rides. The Twilight Parade starts at 5:30 pm. from 9th Street and North Grand Avenue to the Grandstand.
