iPad 3 with high resolution 'Retina Display" - Is it coming & When ?

The next iPad (iPad 3) is expected by many Apple observers to feature a high resolution display (2048 by 1536). The display in the (iPad 2) is 1024 by 768. The screen for the iPad 3 is expected to retain the same 9.7-inch size of previous editions. The rumor mill has October 2011 as a possible launch but we'll just have to wait and see.

Verizon workers going back to work without a contract - for now anyway ..

    Striking Verizon workers by the thousands will return to work starting Monday night (Aug. 21, 2011) even though they do not have a new contract. The 14-day strike has apparently forced both the union and the company to agree to a narrow set of issues in dispute. They have agreed to set up a process to negotiate a new contract.
