The U.S. Postal Service is launching a study of thousands of local post offices for possible closure in an effort to save money. It seems the federal agency is a little strapped for cash. USPS lost $8 billion last year. Most of the roughly 3,600 offices that face reviews are in rural areas so don't worry. Oh, unless of course you live in a rural area - Oops.
