Move over 'Edsel' from Ford here comes the 'Volt' from Chevy ....

    A recent survey suggests that potential car buyers are rapidly losing interest in the plug-in hybrid vehicle known as "The Volt". The Volt is one of the first new vehicles to test the potential market for electric cars. The big problem with the car is the hefty price tag.

    The Volt was introduced with a sticker price of $41,00 - WOW. Chevy plans to reduce the cost of the 2012 model to $39,995 - still WOW. It only took the Edsel 3 model years to slip into oblivion.
