The BIG Question after "Will you marry me" has got to be ...
Is this Banquet Hall really what we want for our wedding?
Always make an appointment to look at a possible banquet room or ballroom site. Don't rely solely on recommendations from family or friends without actually seeing the facility. You need to see the actual banquet reception location and to talk to someone knowledgeable about what the banquet hall offers.
Bring a camera along on any visit to a banquet facility and take pictures of the reception banquet room and its amenities. The pictures will make it easier for you to remember particulars about the banquet hall you liked.
When looking at possible reception sites, consider your wedding style. Does the prospective banquet room fit with what you envision your wedding to be? It goes without saying that the size of the reception site should be appropriate for the number of guests you want to invite. Also consider price and proximity to your wedding ceremony site.
