Will Electric Cars replace Gas powered Cars ?

Electric cars with battery power are trying to push fuel efficiency to the max. Automakers are expanding their offerings of conventional hybrid cars and rolling out models that can run purely on electricity. The 50-mpg Toyota Prius, arguably the most recognizable hybrid on the road today, is facing increased competition from Ford, Hyundai, Honda and other manufacturers who are making their own hybrids. You could save thousands on a car!

Chevy’s plug-in hybrid Volt and Nissan’s all-electric Leaf run on electrons and seldom need gas. As battery costs decline more automobile manufacturers will be offering more electric-car options in the coming years.
