The height of the Statue of Liberty is 151 feet. Add the height of the pedestal under the statue and the entire structure is 305 feet high. The weight of the statue alone is 225 tons. The weight of the pedestal however is 27,000 tons. The number of steps to the top of the statue is 154. The cost of the statue was $650,000 and the sculptor that built the Statue of Liberty was Frederic Auguste Bartholdi.
