Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom may be expanding on nearly 7 acres of adjacent land currently owned by Lehigh County.
Cedar Fair Entertainment Co. owns the amusement park. Lehigh County has accepted a bid of $2.75 million for the land. The Lehigh County Commissioners must now vote on the bid. This is one of the most valuable properties owned by Lehigh County.
Dorney Park has more than 100 rides and attractions, 8 roller coasters, and a water park. The park's newest attraction is Planet Snoopy which is a kids theme park that opened this season.
