No more FREE underwear - a Florida sheriff has decided to reduce costs in his budget by stopping the distribution of free underwear for county jail inmates.
The sheriff instead plans to sell boxers and briefs to inmates of the Polk County jail for a small fee. The sheriff said cutting the underwear would save around $45,000 a year. That is enough of a savings to save one job at the jail. Good job sheriff, now that’s “thinking outside of the box(er) shorts”.
The underwear colors offered the prisoners are white, white or white.
