Phillies & Yankees battle it out – No, I'm not talking about interleague baseball game, I'm talking about...

The Philadelphia Phillies have one of the most devoted fan bases in baseball. On April 20, 2011 the Phillies recorded the 147th. consecutive sellout overall. The Phillies right now have the best attendance record in baseball by a nice margin.

According to ESPN, the Phillies and Yankees have drawn over 50,000 home fans more than any other teams in baseball. Philadelphia however has an edge over the Yankees in average attendance, since the Yankees have not sold out all of their games. Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park has over 45,400 fans a night, while Yankee Stadium only gets over 41,600.
