Redner’s Warehouse Markets has a plan to get customers to GO GREEN

Grocery stores like Redner’s have been trying to get customers to go green by encouraging the use of “reusable bags” for several years now. The reusable bags save them money and help reduce waste.

Redner’s plan is to offer “financial incentives”. They will give you 3 cents off your purchase every time you use reusable bags. I know that it doesn’t sound like a lot but if you shop once a day you will save $10.95 for the year.

In 2010, Redner’s Warehouse Markets sold a reported 23,777 reusable bags and issued $65,607 in rebates for using them.
