Weis Markets has invested about $10 million into its first "Flagship Superstore" which is scheduled to open May 2011 at 112 West Wyomissing Blvd. West Lawn. The 12.8 acre shopping center will contain Weis Market with 8 gasoline fueling stations and 6 smaller retail spaces.
A 2nd store will open in Forks Township a few weeks later, and a 3rd store will open in Bellefonte in the fall. The West Lawn store will employ approximately 200 to 300 full-time associates.
