McDain's Restaurant and Golf Center in Monroeville has a new restaurant policy that will take effect July 16, 2011. The restaurant owner said that parents can't control the kid's volume and the screaming and crying disturbs many of his customers. The new policy therefore ban's kids less than 6 years of age.
Some restaurant customers said they support the owner's right to set rules that he thinks are best for his business. Others are offended by the policy.
The owner said that children might be the center of their parents' universe, as it should be. But he added they're not the center of everyone else's universe too.
