Philadelphia is home to the largest Independence Day, July 4th, celebration in the country. The celebration is WAWA Welcome America and it runs 11 days. The high point of the celebration is July 4th and includes a parade, party on the parkway, the largest FREE concert in the country and fireworks show.
The parade runs from 11 am - 12:30 pm. featuring over 3500 marchers, musicians, dancers and even floats.
The free concert runs from 7-10 pm. at the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Fireworks follow at the art museum.
