Philadelphia on Parade
is a free family festival that will have over 1,000 performers at the Mann Center for the Performing Arts this Saturday - May 21, 2011.
The festival will feature dance, music and art from 11 am. to 6 pm. The festival will open up with a MardiGras style parade. The parade will have dancers and a jazz brass band and also stilt walkers for the kids. There are 5 stages at the Mann in Fairmount Park.
Visit the children's Pavillion to see jugglers, storytellers and even balloon artists. There also will be crafts, face painters and lots of food. Rain date is Sunday, May 22, 2011.
